About this site
A finding aid for the press of the Revolutionary Communist Tendency and the Revolutionary Communist Party, not an edition of it.
Which organisation
The Revolutionary Communist Tendency was formed in 1977 by members expelled from the Revolutionary Communist Group in November 1976. It became the Revolutionary Communist Party in 1981. The party was wound up in the 1990s and LM ran until 2000. This is not the Revolutionary Communist Group (publisher of Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism!), whose own journal is not held here, nor the Revolutionary Communist Party of 1944–49.
What is here
379 items. Most come from the scans gathered by the Splits and Fusions archive; the scans of Living Marxism and LM are held by the Encyclopedia of Trotskyism On-Line, and those pages link to them there. Where two scans of the same issue exist, the more complete one is published.
The text
The text was read from the scans by machine in October 2026 (Apple's Vision, with a column-aware reading order) and has not been corrected. It reads clean print well and crowded newspaper pages less well: lines from neighbouring columns, captions and boxes sometimes run together. For anything you quote, read the scan. The transcriptions are the exception: they were made by hand from the page images.
